Versatile self-catering accommodation in the heart of Somerset.

Dragonfly Barn is a detached barn built from stone, dating back to the 18th century and is situated within the grounds of the Bullock family’s 16th Century home of Newton House. Designated off road parking is available to our guests and all 3 barns have their own designated electric car charging point that can be controlled via the Project EV app
Dragonfly One and Dragonfly Two can be interconnected to provide versatile accommodation for larger families who need a bit more space under one roof.

Upon arrival you will find a welcome basket of tea & coffee, with a pint of fresh milk in the fridge along with a cool bottle of Prosecco. We provide all bed linen and fluffy towels as well as all the essentials you should need for a stress free stay. Cots and highchairs are also available for our ‘little’ guests. Our usual departure time is 10am, but if you would prefer a later checkout and availability allows we will endeavour to arrange this for you to make the most of your stay.

Dragonfly One

Dragonfly One is situated on the first floor by way of an external staircase. This delightful self-catering cottage offers bright and modern accommodation and fully equipped to a very high standard. Dragonfly One features an open plan living / dining room and kitchen, all with laminate wooden floors.

Dragonfly Two

Dragonfly Two is a charming two bedroom cottage with an open plan ground floor, that comprises a lounge with ‘dining area and fully fitted kitchen and direct access to its own secluded garden area. On the first floor there is a double bedroom, a bathroom with shower over and a single bedroom with full size bunk beds.

Dragonfly Three

Dragonfly Three is a one bedroom self catering cottage with en-suite bathroom, filled with charm boasting its own enclosed private courtyard garden, and is a comfortable base as you explore the local area. The cottage is detached from the main barn on ground level and offers a cosy cottage feel with carpeted lounge and dining area with window to the rear and opening into a fully fitted kitchen area.
